Warm Up America - update

I have been knitting and crocheting squares for Warm Up America. Well, I started knitting a few squares and then I read on the WUA facebook page that joiners (people who join the squares to make blankets) prefer crocheting, so I switched back to that. I figure they are the experts and they probably have good reason for preferring crochet.
Anyway, I have been making squares and throwing them in a big box. I bought more yarn and then I was also able to use some yarn that was kindly donated to my local library.
Last weekend I sat down and forced myself to weave in all the ends. I'm that person, the one who hates weaving in ends and I will procrastinate as long as humanly possible. I was 1000% done after doing all that and threw them back in the box.
Well, today I got them out and actually cut off all the woven ends. I've organized them by color as well.

I didn't count them all, but I think there are just over 100 squares. I honestly thought I had more and I was mentally planning a blanket with shades of purple, one with cozy fall colors, another with shades of blue, maybe one with rainbow. Now I'm thinking I might just mail them in to Warm Up America and they can become part of more blankets than I can make on my own. (But there is more room in the box so I'll probably make a few more before shipping them)
