Bit of this, bit of that

I have been a bit all over the place lately!
First, my youngest and I got involved with our local library's friends group last spring. After being in the group for a few months, I talked them into letting me take over their instagram page. One of the librarians started a program called "Tech Time" and I went for a couple of sessions to learn more about how to use canva. I'd post the library's graphics and interspersed in with those, I started making some of my own. Here is one I made - I hesitated to post it because I knew how the Friends of the Library president felt about banned books. Honestly, I was surprised they didn't change the instagram password on me! But I posted and made graphics for the blood drive that got cancelled, the book sale, and their toy collection drive. But in the end, things still went to crap with me and the group. I got their bylaws and learned they weren't following any of their own rules like having an annual meeting with elections. My questions didn't earn me any points, along with some other stuff like casual racism, and we left the group. I guess my helping with social media motivated me to learn more about Canva, so I guess there's that.

We went to a watercolor program at the library and I really enjoyed it. I can't decide if I should outline the leaves or just leave it. I'm inclined to leave it alone. But I could see making cards or something because it's a pretty chill project.

We pulled some carrots from the garden recently and the bunny had his fill of greens. I used the leftovers to dye some yarn.

Have y'all heard of the Portland frog hats? I have been working on a few, which I hope to sell.

Last but definitely not least - the blanket. It's cooler out but warm enough in the sun so I sit outside and work on the binding. I think I have just one side left. It's a huge blanket and it's taking me ages to finish but I'll get there!

That's about all from me! Catch you soon! Maybe next time I can write that I finally finished the blanket...
